GA Milestones Test Schedule Georgia Milestones Testing begins April 19th

Beginning on Wednesday, April 19, the students of the Treutlen County School system will begin taking the Georgia Milestones Tests. Georgia Milestones measures how well students have learned the knowledge and skills outlined in the state-adopted content standards in English Language Arts, mathematics, science, and social studies.  


Students in grades 3 through 8 take an end-of-grade assessment in English Language Arts and mathematics while students in grades 5 and 8 are also assessed in science and social studies. High school students take an end-of-course assessment for each of the ten courses designated by the State Board of Education. The 10 courses for high school students are 


  • English Language Arts
    • Ninth Grade Literature and Composition
    • American Literature and Composition
  • Mathematics
    • Algebra I or Coordinate Algebra
    • Geometry or Analytic Geometry
  • Science
    • Biology
    • Physical Science​​
  • ​​Social Studies
    • United States History
    • Economics/Business/Free Enterprise

I would like to welcome you to the Treutlen High School website and to the many programs at our school. We value all of our stakeholders as a vital part of our school and community. We encourage our students to strive to reach academic success that will prepare them for the present and future. We encourage parents to visit the school and become active participants in their student’s learning success. We have highly qualified teachers, a standards based curriculum, aligned standards-based lessons and instructional activities.  We offer many extracurricular activities at the school.
