Hello- my name is Carla and I am the school nurse here, at Treutlen County Schools. I am from Treutlen County and have lived here almost all of my life. I attended school at Treutlen and I graduated from THS in 1982. After graduating, I studied at Valdosta State College and obtained my nursing degree in 1987. I began my 1st nursing position with Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, GA, in June 1987 and I continued to work at MRMC 34 years until retiring in July 2021. Very shortly after retirement, I joined TCS staff as the school nurse for all Viking students (PreK - 12th). I am happy to be here and I look forward to the years to come. My goal for each day is to try and keep our students healthy and happy, to the best of my ability !
